For the famous Fifa World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca Cola (presentation of the trophy in 33 countries), I had to do a portrait of a teen in his city, talking about soccer and the specificities of this sport in his country.
I stayed in Kolkata, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok to gave the good inputs and "how to do it" to Dorothée and Luc for the next 30 countries.
Shot with the Canon 7D. 2 days of shooting per city.

Il met en relief les 3 dimensions des industries technologiques que sont : l'innovation, les femmes et les hommes, la société et ses besoins.

Résumé
Louis Malle tourne Lacombe Lucien en 1973. Dans une petite ville du sud-ouest français en juin 1944, peu après le Débarquement, Lucien Lacombe, fils de paysans, cherche à rejoindre la Résistance, mais il est jugé trop jeune. Un soir, il est surpris par le couvre-feu et arrêté. Il livre à la Gestapo le nom du chef local du maquis et s’engage dans la traque et la torture des résistants. Toutefois, il tombe amoureux d’une jeune fille juive qui vit cachée avec son père et sa grand-mère. Il les sauvera en partie de l’arrestation. Lucien Lacombe sera arrêté et exécuté après la Libération. Le film sort en février 1974, dans la France de Georges Pompidou. Le mythe de la France résistante, propagée par les gaullistes et les communistes, s’effrite. En 1973, « La France de Vichy » de l’historien américain Robert Paxton marque un tournant. L’ouvrage réfute la thèse d’un Pétain attentiste et souligne au contraire l’activisme pro-allemand du régime de Vichy, notamment sur la question juive. Dans ce contexte, Lacombe Lucien, connaît un succès polémique.

" A la question « Que feriez-vous si vous aviez un million ? », Louis Malle répondit : « J'ai un million et je fais du cinéma. » Cinéaste franc-tireur qui se positionnait « à côté » (de la Nouvelle Vague, du documentaire, du cinéma français...), Louis Malle savait composer avec l'étiquette de bourgeois dandy qu'on lui accolait trop souvent. Est-ce pour s'en affranchir qu'il aimait provoquer en s'attaquant à des sujets « difficiles » comme la prostitution des mineurs (La Petite), l'inceste (Le Souffle au coeur) ou la collaboration (Lacombe Lucien) ?
A la sortie de Lacombe Lucien, en 1974, la France de Pompidou n'était pas prête à accepter qu'un Français moyen devienne collaborateur par hasard. Encore moins à estomper la frontière entre le bien et le mal au temps de l'Occupation.
En 1969, Louis Malle avait distribué Le Chagrin et la Pitié de Marcel Ophuls. L'Américain Robert Paxton venait de publier La France de Vichy, qui dénonçait l'activisme pro-allemand du régime de Vichy. Certaines barrières historiques commençaient donc à tomber, mais le film de Louis Malle allait encore plus loin : son portrait d'un salaud ordinaire trouble, aujourd'hui encore, par son absence de jugement moral. « Sans chagrin ni pitié », titrait un journal à la sortie de Lacombe Lucien.
A partir d'interviews, ce documentaire dispose judicieusement les éléments d'un puzzle qui trouvera sa pièce finale avec Au revoir les enfants. Treize ans après, ce film, qui marquait le retour de Louis Malle en France, donnait une clef pour comprendre le personnage de Lucien en dévoilant un pan de l'enfance de son auteur.

"« IL ETAIT UNE FOIS un film », la série documentaire de Marie Genin et Serge July, explore le cinéma dans ses grandes largeurs... Ses grandes largeurs d'esprit. L'un de ses charmes est sa liberté. Les producteurs ne se préoccupent jamais de hiérarchiser les genres. Leur idée, c'est de revenir sur la naissance d'un film en le replaçant dans le courant de l'Histoire, et les bons films étant ceux qui témoignent le plus de leur temps, on trouve, dans cette collection, au moins autant de comédies et de satires que d ' oeuvres ayant ambitionné la palme d'or. Mais c'est la première fois, sans doute, qu'on étudie de façon aussi fouillée « Le Père Noël est une ordure », film tellement irrespectueux et drôle qu'il bat des records d'audience à chacun de ses nombreux passages à la télévision, mais qui possède par ailleurs une richesse documentaire considérable.
On rit de tout, en effet, dans « Le Père Noël est une ordure », et en particulier des effets d'une crise économique qui n a cessé de s'amplifier depuis. On se moque des pauvres, des suicidaires, des transsexuels, des femmes battues. On y raille aussi des valeurs qui, à l'époque, pouvaient paraître d'un autre âge, comme cette charité très Madame Boucicaut, et dont on n'oserait probablement plus se gausser aujourd'hui tant elle constitue l'un des derniers parachutes sociaux. Martin Hirsch et le sociologue Olivier Mongin fournissent à Daniel Ablin, réalisateur du documentaire, des témoignages plus nuancés que le film, lequel reste d'ailleurs une exception à l'italienne dans le tableau d'un cinéma français généralement moins prompt à démolir les idées dominantes. Lhermitte, Balasko, Chazel, Clavier, Moynot et Jugnot voient leur oeuvre comme une simple farce, mais leur brûlot anti-bénévolat respire un esprit de solidarité railleuse qu'on retrouvait à la même époque dans la vie et l ' oeuvre de Coluche. Aujourd'hui, on supporterait moins l'irrespect ravageur de ce film. Nous respectons enfin les minorités. Traitons-nous mieux les pauvres pour autant ?

This film introduces the IRIS 320, a high speed train that travels at over 300 kilometers per hour inspecting and testing tracks, signals, overhead power supply and telecommunications technologies, using a raft of sensors and cameras in its 20 measurement systems.
Masses of data are processed, analyzed and checked in real time by operators on the train. Where necessary, alerts are sent out to maintenance teams to intervene immediately or at a later date...
